Growth Of MSMEs In Tourism
Yokute Accelerator is designed to strengthen Gambian MSMEs in the tourism sector. Through tailored programs and mentorship, we help enterprises grow, diversity, and access investment opportunities.
"The project’s success will be measured by the share of tourist arrivals from non-traditional markets, the share of tourism sector micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) with the ability to increase market share in goods and services through improved productivity and contracts (new or expanded) with tourism Lead Firms, and increased shoreline with targeted coastal erosion control measures."

The Graduation and Unveiling of New Cohort is a landmark event hosted by the Tourism Diversification and Resilience in The Gambia Project (TDRGP), celebrating achievement, growth, and new beginnings within the tourism and hospitality sector. This special occasion honors participants who have successfully completed their training and capacity-building programs under TDRGP. These graduates represent a new generation of skilled professionals equipped with the knowledge, tools, and resilience needed to strengthen and diversify The Gambia’s tourism industry. At the same time, the event proudly welcomes and unveils a new cohort of participants who are about to begin their own journey of learning, innovation, and impact. This symbolic transition highlights TDRGP’s ongoing commitment to sustainable tourism development, community empowerment, and economic resilience.
